As dragons dance is a duet by Juliana Vargas Rodríguez & Elena Rebeccato where intimacy and absurdity play with each other. By entering into the experiences and secrets that live in one's bedroom, this one particularly has only one mattress and a couple of broken phones. How is freedom expressed in the safety of our personal space?
Women without men by Daniela Delerci and D Collective is an innovative artistic endeavor that delves into the intricate relationship between imagination and reality. This project intertwines Iranian narratives with the expressive medium of puppet theatre, creating a unique and evocative exploration of cultural female iranian identity and tradition. Through a blend of movement and text, the research looks to embody Iranian traditions and cultural values, offering an immersive experience that navigates the rich tapestry of iranian tailes. At its core, this project aims to bridge the gap between tales and reality, encouraging a deeper understanding before passing judgment on the threshold between the two. By incorporating the dynamic interplay between tradition and modernity, "Women without man" will illuminate the complexities of cultural preservation and transformation. The narratives of puppet makers, who have long been the custodians of these art forms and secrets, will be central to this exploration, highlighting resilience, creativity, and the nuanced ways in which they negotiate their identities within the framework of Iranian cultural heritage.
