The creation is inspired by the Manga universe, the fish headed monster represent something very deep and unrealistic, a free and carefree creature swimming in the water. This image is used to present a kind of detachment from reality, a dreamy and romantic world. The work reflects on the concept of hybrid and non-binary, based on the utopia of an eternal daydream, an eternal bubble. The infinite loop of struggling for our identity, our freedom, the uncertain and the different always seen as wickness, monstruosity, something that has to remain under the surface, to stay in the deepest feelings of our soul, underwater. Bodies are telling their story with childish innocence and romantic imagination of the world, but of course this will not last forever, bubbles will eventually burst, just like people will eventually face the reality.
