FORMA/R/TS: "Memory and Fiction: a rehearsal with the last pupil"

The aim of "Memory and Fiction: a rehearsal with the last pupil” is to continue and expand the transversal and transcultural work that has been carried out during June, July and August 2023 in Mendoza, Argentina, in collaboration with former dancers of Isolde Klietmann (Slovenia, 1908 - Argentina, 1993).

For this project, I will focus on a specific case study: Cristina Castro and her personal archive. The performance aims to allow a fictional encounter between Cristina Castro, Marcela López Morales, Isolde Klietmann and the Avaro. The subjects become one more element within the system of cross-references in dialogue from different perspectives. The dance archives will be presented as an operative fiction in which the theatricality of the archive makes us aware of the material force and capacity for agency of documents in interaction with the dancers.
